Community Council
Arnprior has a community council (ACC) which meets six times a year and is part of the Area 2 (Rural South West) Forum of community councils set up by Stirling Council to facilitate community planning. This page covers meeting dates, how to contact various councillors, links to minutes and other information and a note of current consultations. The Roads and Village page contains information about live planning issues and general activity concerning the village.

Stirling Council's Planning Panel has refused permission for Npower Renewables Limited to build a wind farm at Ballindalloch Muir
near Balfron. The Panel agreed to refuse the application because of the environmental and visual impact the huge turbines would
have on Stirling's outstanding landscape. The Council received 115 letters in support and 428 letters objecting to the proposals
(including those from seven community councils). For more information go to
latest news.
Do you use public transport? Perhaps you have thought about it but found the service doesn't suit your needs.
Then you should complete the online
survey organised by the Stirling Community Planning Partnership. Young people should
use this
link. Paper copies of the questionnaire will soon be available at the Nursery. The survey will close at the end
of January. Don't miss this opportunity for all age groups to have an input.
