Community Council
Arnprior has a community council (ACC) which meets six times a year and is part of the Area 2 Forum of community councils set up by Stirling Council to facilitate community planning.

Current Consultations
All regular meetings of the Forum are held at Balfron Campus, 7pm. The dates for 2008 are all on Mondays:
25 February, 9 June, 22 September and 24 November.
Minutes are posted on the Stirling Council website.
Area 2 Community Planning Forum

minutes of meetings, contact details of councillors and facts and figures about
Arnprior including a map.
The community council meetings are normally held in Arnprior Nursery School on Tuesdays at 7.30 pm.

Want to speak to your local Stirling Councillors about Council issues? Go along to the local surgery at Arnprior Nursery - no appointment necessary - at 7pm before our regular Community Council meetings. Your Councillors are: Graham Lambie, Colin O'Brien and Alistair Berrill.

There are still two
vacancies so if anyone is interested please contact the secretary or chairman for more information.
Consultants working for Scottish Natural Heritage are looking for people to interview about their personal stories and anecdotes concerning the Moss. The best stories may be used in future interpretation. This project will take time to research and develop but if your are interested in taking part contact the Stirling office of SNH.
Housing in the Countryside
Stirling Council is reviewing its policy regarding planning applications for housing developments in the countryside. A more liberal policy is being considered which will extend over all areas outwith the defined towns and villages. A 6 week consultation is underway and the closing date for written responses is 10 December.
